Adam Kokesh Taken Into Federal Custody

It comes as no surprise that an attempt would be made to arrest Adam Kokesh before July fourth. If you haven’t been paying attention, Adam speaks his mind and does not appreciate a government that tries to claim that they defend freedom, while simultaneously removing it. He pulls no punches when telling it how it is, and the media and government officials do not appreciate him unmasking them and showing them for the charlatans and liars that they are.

It was on such an occasion in the amazingly corrupt city of Philadelphia that Adam was out and about protesting the war on drugs – specifically marijuana. Now I lived in the Philadelphia area for 4 years up until recently, and can tell you that smoking pot is not exactly a rare thing there. Sure the cops and busy bodies want it gone, but outside of that – just about everyone I knew up there either smoked it or knew someone who did. They were all productive people and reliable in a pinch…somehow the law said they were a threat…was never sure how…

Anyway, there was Adam speaking out against the nonsense that is the prohibition of weed in PA, and yes, he was arrested. Was he arrested for smoking? No – he hadn’t smoked yet. Was he arrested for domestic disturbance? No. Was he arrested for anything that could remotely harm another living soul? NO!

The fact is that there was no reason to arrest him. None, zero, zilch. Unless of course you take into account the fact that he was planning another demonstration on the 4rth of July in Washington DC that includes 10K armed people.

You see Adam was a problem. He actually got out there and challenged people to think and to question. Not being a violent person, this put the system in quite an awkward spot. They couldn’t arrest him – they had no legal grounds to do so even in their own law. They couldn’t ignore him so they tried using the media to play him off as a whack-job. They couldn’t make him look like a whack job because he took the time to answer their  nonsense point for point. It got quiet for a bit.

Then after one new absurd gun law attempt after another, and a whole flood of other stupidity, Adam decided to make the ultimate play – to force the system to show its true colors, or make a fundamental change. If they show their true colors, then the waiting is over and the system will be caught with its pants down so to speak and be unable to control the outcome decisively. However a fundamental change would take away much of their power so they couldn’t have that either.

I was just informed that he has been charged with resisting arrest and taken into Federal custody. That’s a hoot – they had no reason at all to arrest him in the first place. Plus I watched the video and he did not resist at all. He is well build, and the officers doing the arresting? Not so much. However I will bet my bottom dollar that come Monday morning, they will find a second or two of him walking in handcuffs (which is hard with two people pushing you – trust me been there done that) – and the media will claim that this guy was resisting arrest and therefore a real dangerous man! A dangerous man who plans to lead an armed march on DC on the 4rth!

I would throw up if there was any food in my stomach to come up.

Unlike 99% of the government employees and officials out there, Adam took the constitution seriously when he was younger and in the marines. When given a choice between breaking his oath to it, or the officers appointed over him – he went with the constitution. This automatically made him more of an honorable man than those other liars, thieves, and murderers that composed the other 99%.

Why is he in Jail?

Did he hurt anyone? No. Government official’s bomb, shoot, and imprison innocent people on a daily basis – and they are not in Jail. Why is Adam?

Was he dishonest in how he represented himself, or the knowledge he hoped to impart to anyone who would listen? No.  Both government officials and the media lie on a near constant basis to maintain their power and to force society to obey – and they are not in jail. Why is Adam?

Did he encourage people to harm anyone, or try to intimidate people into violently attacking the system? No. Meanwhile the US continues to install and uphold dictatorships around the world to maintain their power – they are not in Jail. Why is Adam?

Because he showed them for who they really are. Because he pointed out that if freedom is not exercised then it is taken away. Because he proved over and over again that America is not free. Because he was the only person with a pair big enough to exercise the rights inherent in his humanity – no matter how the system tried to hold him. Because he would exercise the rights that the ‘system’ is SUPPOSED TO UPHOLD AND OBEY while they instead chose to deliberately take away those rights time and time again.

Yup. Land of the free, home of the brave…keep telling yourself that…I am under no such illusion.

Finally – to all those who like to throw the claim around that ‘Adams march on DC’ will you cause you to lose more freedoms, and that this arrest was a good thing – you are the part of the scared. You claim freedom but deep down inside don’t want it enough to actually do anything outside of typing and protest. You claim the system will not change from the inside, but as things get worse, refuse to change a thing about how you stop it. You cry foul when someone finally decides to put their money where their mouth is – terrified more of that person than you are the system that you complain about every single day.

Please stop. If all you are going to do is complain, and keep doing what you have been doing hoping things will change while they steadily get worse, while condemning the actions of someone who is actually DOING something – just stop…or at least admit that you lack conviction in your beliefs. You can’t have it both ways.

Anyway – please keep abreast of Adams situation, and if you truly give a damn – help where you can…or get out of the kitchen.

Are you capable of expounding on that, or just throwing a word out that can be taken several ways to get a reaction?

Not trolling. I just don’t see the value in this kind of “activism”

Will explain further in about when I get to a full size keyboard – using the small keypad my phone has is not very good at providing a decent response. The short answer though, is that for many out there, it proves that the nonsense being imposed by the system now is not only very real but highly wasteful and irrational as well.

He was arrested for resisting arrest by the PA cops?? How did he get to be in “Federal Custody”??

    • David Shirk May 19, 2013 at 7:51 pm #

Though in the city of PA, he was in a park paid for and maintained by the feds. The whole point is that being arrested for resisting arrest with no other charge is nothing more than a ploy so that come Monday, the media can make him look like a violent lunatic…already on reddit people are already stating such nonsense and ignoring the facts.

So is there a link to a video of the arrest and the moments leading up to it? Maybe they should of arrested him for tresspassing on government property? Since we no longer own the government that would make more sense.

There are several on YouTube showing at least 3 angles of the whole thing from start to finish – will provide them when I get to my computer – my phone isn’t that good for that.
