I feel that I have an obligation to speak out. First as a human being and that I love my fellow man and secondly because I feel that I have a responsibility to every last unfortunate soul of these murderous wars, the aggression and occupations around the world. All of this mass murder is being done in everyone’s name and everyone is paying for it one way or another, directly, indirectly, loss of life, limbs and emotionally.
The majority of what are victims of war are people that are unarmed; innocent children make up a third of the victims. These innocents have done nothing to you or me, The military and those that are in power seem to think these murders are justified, and they justify these murders by saying that they are an indirect cause and effect of war and give it a fancy name “Collateral Damage.”
The people of other countries don’t hate us because we are more free than they are, they don’t like us because we are over there committing crimes against humanity. The only war on terror is that which is being committed by those calling themselves government, and for those that call themselves government to twist it around and blame others is nothing but a cover for military action to take advantage and control of the resources in the countries that are being occupied. There is no honor in sending the poor of one country to kill the poor of those in another country, this is nothing but genocide and those that are practicing it are the terrorists.
I will not remain silent, I feel that I have a responsibility to speak up as a human being living on this planet. Killing innocent people when they have done no harm to you is a criminal act. If you or I carried out these actions that those wearing government uniforms are doing, we would be arrested and in prison. Murder is murder, regardless of who is doing it.
When the people of these countries stand up to military intervention they are labeled terrorists for resisting the aggression, murder and theft of resources. They simply do not have a choice but to defend themselves, their families and homes.
I have a choice to speak out and encourage others too. Speak out against the injustices that are being done in your name against your fellow man.
It is important to me and I feel that I must speak out in support of the people in the world who object, resist and tolerate this horrific state that has been brought on them by bloodthirsty imperialistic governments around the world.
Pastor Martin Niemöller said: “First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out – because I was not a communist; Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out – because I was not a socialist; Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out – because I was not a trade unionist; Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out – because I was not a Jew; Then they came for me – and there was no one left to speak out for me.”
Speak out now and stop these wars!
